About Me
Hello! My name is Eloise Brown and I am a student pursuing a B.S. in Environmental Engineering at The University of Cincinnati (Class of 2026). I am also a part of the ACCEND program and am therefore concurrently pursuing an M. Eng. in Chemical Engineering. I have completed three co-op rotations in Environmental Engineering and Logistics and Storage Engineering. During these experiences, I worked in Regulatory Compliance and Terminals. I gained an understanding of Environmental Protection Agency, Department of Transportation, Pipeline and Hazardous Safety Administration, and California State Fire Marshal regulations pertaining to petroleum pipelines. I pride myself on being involved at university and am Vice President of Projects for Engineers Without Borders and a part of the University Honors Program, UC Club Frisbee Team, Kappa Alpha Theta, Design for America, Society of Environmental Engineers, Cincinnati Snowcats Ski Team, and Society of Women Engineers. Outside of school, I love to travel, volunteer, cook, and read. (To learn more about my involvement at UC and my interests, check out the involvement/ interests page below).

To me, Environmental Engineering is the apex of teamwork, problem-solving, leadership, and exploring nature and its processes. Ever since I can remember, I have always been passionate about the environment and wanted to make a large positive difference in this world. I wanted to find a career that would allow me to explore the environment in a more up-close manner while finding solutions to improve lives around the world and environmental engineering seemed to be just that.

I am exceptionally hardworking and am always seeking opportunities to advance myself and my career. I am particularly interested in combining environmental and chemical engineering specifically through sustainability.
